Silver Lake College
Silver Lake College is a coeducational, liberal arts and professional degree granting institution that is sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. Our four-year college seeks "to empower its students for self-directed and continuing intellectual inquiry and commitment to Christian values for self-directed leadership in an increasingly global society." SLC's thirty acres campus adjacent to the shores of Silver Lake is conveniently located near the city of Manitowoc, which is the Maritime Capital of Wisconsin and home to approximately 33,000 residents. Also in close proximity is Interstate 43 the major north-south corridor of eastern Wisconsin linking Milwaukee and Green Bay. For more than 60 years, Silver Lake College has provided the best of both worlds: a clean and safe local environment with abundant opportunities to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and access to large, metropolitan areas.
