Merit-Based Scholarships
Approximately 75 percent of Mannes students receive merit-based Mannes College scholarships, which are determined at the time of the audition. The average award ranges from 25 percent to 50 percent of tuition.
A Scholarship Committee consisting of faculty and administration determines how to disburse these awards, which are given each year in recognition of students' outstanding talent, ability, and achievement. These scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of aptitude in the major field of study, although academic standing (particularly in the case of returning students) is taken into consideration.
