RCTC is Minnesota's oldest community college. Located in the third largest city in Minnesota, Rochester has been ranked seven times by Money Magazine as one of the best places to live in the US. Rochester is home to Mayo Clinic, a world leader in health care and IBM, a world leader in technology. RCTC offers more than 100 programs of study has recently opened three premier campus facilities: TelePRO, $9 million in telecommunications enhancements; Horticulture Technology Center, a $4.5 million greenhouse, lab and classroom addition and a new sports center, a $15 million recreation center featuring a new indoor fieldhouse the size of two football fields, an indoor 200 meter track, six indoor basketball courts, kinesiology lab, training room and six softball/baseball fields.
