NSU pioneered the Dual Admission Program for a select group of highly motivated students who have maintained a laser focus on their career goals form an early age. As a qualified student in the Dual Admission Program, you’re automatically reserved a in one of NSU’s graduate or professional schools while you earn your bachelor’s degree. In today’s competitive world, that’s like getting head start on the rest of your life. A perfect place to learn, grow and excel, NSU is where you want to begin your life’s journey. With more than 50 on-campus student organizations, a powerful student government, socially active fraternities and sororities, intramural sports, and NCAA Division II Athletics, NSU has all the elements of a classic, traditional college.
But we’ve never been bound by tradition. Maybe that’s because we’re located in one of the most exciting, international places on Earth. There’s hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and windsurfing. Endless open-air festivals and concerts. For sports fans, there’s professional football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. Fort Lauderdale Beach is 15 minutes to the East, and the everglades are 15 minutes in the other direction. You can be on South Beach in about half an hour. In 3 hours, you can be screaming your lungs out at one of Orlando’s theme parks or chilling in the Florida Keys. For foodies, there’s everything from causal waterfront divers to world-class gourmet cuisine. And if you view shopping as a competitive sport, then South Florida is the Olympics, with everything from funky flea markets to some of the world’s most exclusive shopping malls and boutiques, all just minutes from campus. As they say seeing is believing. Many of our students believe in love at first sight. Because it seems that once they’ve seen NSU, they’re hooked.
NSU’s main campus is not hard to get to, but it’s awfully hard to leave. We offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year for you to visit the NSU campus.
