MI’s educational philosophy emphasizes not only the development of knowledge, skill and experience, but also preparation for the practical steps required to make the transition from student to professional. MI’s unique advantages, including in-house auditions for signed artists, career counseling by recognized industry leaders, and unparalleled networking opportunities have helped thousands of graduates to launch their music careers. Former MI students are performing in bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Korn and Nine Inch Nails; backing artists like Pink, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera; writing and recording original music; and working in the studio, on the set, and behind the scenes in every area of the music industry.
